For me every day has a different colour. All my memories are translated into colours. Impressions, different moods and passing moments are captured in my pictures and scarves. Through painting I have a chance to show how many colours I can see, how many different colours exist. There is a new one for each day. 

I am a painter and art teacher from Hungary. Silk painting is an excellent way to express myself. The colours are so bright and vivid, the silk is so fine, delicate and light that it feels like it is not even solid. Every piece I make is unique: I hand paint my own silk designs - pictures and scarves.

I have worked in silk for about eighteen years but there are still a lot of new things to learn and discover. Every time I start painting it amazes me that I start with a piece of white silk and end up with a colourful, glowing piece: a work of art. There are many different techniques to use and an endless palette of colours that glow beautifully on silk, especially after steaming. 

My inspiration mainly comes from nature but many times the result is more like a picture of my imagination.
